Come together with family and friends for a day full of activities and games!
ALL ARE INVITED TO THIS FREE EVENT!

The second annual Shivanidhi Dasoha event will take place on:
September 16, 2017 | Norton Park, Plainville, CT | 10 am to 4 pm
​
Activities include:

45 min Yoga Session to start the day. Bring your own yoga mats to participate.

1mile run
-
Field Games
-
Snack Stalls
-
Arts/Crafts Stalls

Face Painting/Henna Artists
-
Raffle Prizes
-
Light lunch will be served

Monetary and non-perishable food donations will be gratefully accepted.

What is Dasoha?
Dasoha is the selfless service to humanity rendered with the realization that all beings are sparks of divinity and that the spirit of God exists in all creatures. Seeking God through service is Dasoha.

VSNA (Veerashaiva Samaja of North America) is a non-profit, tax-exempt, religious and cultural organization in the United States of America. It was founded in the year 1978.
The mission is to preserve and foster spiritual heritage, its universalistic, democratic values to posterity through the teachings of Basavanna and other spiritual leaders.
​
VSNA CT chapter is one of the 21 affiliated chapters of the Central VSNA. We conduct monthly Vachananamrutha meetings (way of learning more about teachings of Basavanna and other spiritual leaders), annual religious and cultural events like Shivarathri and Basava Jayanthi and an annual Shivanidhi Dasoha - a fundraising event to help local charity organizations.

Jnana Nidhi Dasoha is another program of VSNA CT which supports basic elementary education for under privileged children in Karnataka.
